Using PSP Scripts

This tutorial shows you how to use PSP scipts on Paint Shop Pro.

Download the PSP script you would like to use, copy the .PspScript and go to your Paint Shop Pro folder, it should look like this: C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 9. Of course, it could be a little different for you.

Find your Scripts folder, you should find two script folders, one called Scripts-Restricted and the other called Scripts-Trusted.
When you downloaded the .PspScript from the site, it should say which folder to put it in. If you're not sure, paste it in Scripts-Restricted for now.

Open up Paint Shop Pro and open up the image you would like to use the PSP script on.
Look at your toolbar, you should see this:

If you don't, go to File->Script->Run and find your .PspScript file and open it, your image should change and have the same effect of the example/preview of the script you downloaded.
Anyway, as for people who does have the script toolbar (it's easier/quicker to use the scripts if you have the toolbar open), click on the drop-down menu, select Scripts-Restricted and find your .PspScript file.

Click on the little play button besides it and your image should change and have the same effect of the example/preview of the script you downloaded.
If you get an error saying it may work if it were in the Scripts-Trusted directory, move the .PspScript file to the trusted folder then it should work.
So if the script worked, your image should have the pretty effect you wanted on your image :)
