Pixel Text
This tutorial shows you how to create pixel text on Paint Shop Pro.
Create a new image which is big enough to fit your text on Paint Shop Pro.
Select the Flood Fill Tool and fill the image in with your pixel text's border colour.
Select the Text Tool and create your text (using a pixel font) with your pixel text colour, I'll be using the font 04b_03 with size 6pt (all pixel fonts has a different size, many font sizes are 6pt and 10pt) then make sure your settings are like mine:

Apply your text and then click on Selections -> Modify -> Expand and for the Number of pixels, select 1px. Click OK and your image shall look like this (I've zoomed into my image):
![]()
Step Three
Copy the floating image and paste it as a new image then zoom right into it.Select the Paint Brush tool then select the 1px square dot. Select a lighter colour of your pixel text (I'll be using a very light grey or white) or like some people do, use white.
"Dot" each top-left hand corner of each letter with that brush to create a "pixelly" effect (click on the image for a clearer/bigger image).
Zoom out and you should have created your pixel text!
